Welcome! My name is Jessica Ojala. My last name is Finnish :) I'm a photographer-turned-gardener and mother to two girls. I started Ojala Farm in the fall of 2017. My first sales were holiday wreaths I made from balsam, fraser fir and white pine. The land my family lives on used to be a Christmas tree farm, and we've cleared about an acre of overgrown fir trees around our house and are now steadily adding new flower gardens. My husband just finished building a small greenhouse and the vegetable garden is being converted into flowers.

The farm is located in the wild woods of Elmore, Vermont. We have our challenges here in Northern Vermont. Heavy clay soil, sloping land, and long cold winters with lots of snow make growing flowers extra fun and challenging. But we appreciate the heck out of our short summers. Being so far north, we do benefit from long summer days. There's so much to learn and I'm so excited to be diving into this flower adventure. Thanks for visiting!
